Nursery for stray animals
On the territory of the residence "Stone Bridge", long-term leased by the Foundation as a base, a shelter for homeless animals was organized at the expense of the Foundation.

  • Explanation of the reasons and necessity for the project:
Nobody undertook to solve the problem of homeless animals in Montenegro at the root, the existing sterilization program is not enough to solve this problem.
The country is teeming with homeless animals that breed uncontrollably and are in an unhealthy state.
Since the problem is extremely urgent for the country, we decided to try to solve it first at the local level. As part of our resources, provide animals with a conducive environment to live in freedom and with people, which would combine the natural habitat of animals and the care provided by humans.
  • Step-by-step description of the project process:
Fund volunteers rescue animals from the street, sometimes throwing animals up. Animals live in the open green area of the residence, in freedom.
Heated houses were built on the territory of the residence. Animals can hide in them from bad weather.
Volunteers replenish feed troughs three times a day, examine the pets, and pay attention to the animals.
At the right time, animals receive veterinary care. Such as sterilization in order to control the population, treatment of animals from parasites, preventive examinations and other treatment.
Within the framework of the project, a program is being carried out to find owners for animals ready to live with people.
We provide media support for the lives of our pets by maintaining accounts on popular social networks, links to which you will find below.

  • Outcome of the project:
Creation of a shelter for 35 cats and 3 dogs.
Sterilization and care of the cat population. Rescue from the street and finding owners for over 30 kittens, 11 puppies and 15 adult cats.
Media support of the project in social networks

On the territory of the residence, artists, musicians - and animals harmoniously coexist. Their interaction is regularly captured by our guests and residents involved in media practices.
